ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Vampirologist, Theresa Bane, is the author of numerous encyclopedias on mythological subject matters such as creatures, demons, fairies, ghosts, giants, mythic locations, and vampires. In addition to having written articles for online magazines, books on regional folklore, RPG supplements, and G.I. Joe, she has been featured on many radio, podcasts, and television shows, such as William Shatner’s “Weird or What” for her knowledge and expertise on the undead.

When not writing, Bane educates audiences about the differences between traditional mythology and horror fiction. A diehard gamer originally from the NY/NJ area, she currently resides in the Shenandoah Valley with her husband and their dogs.
